Chemcay Innovations is a startup initiated by Midlands State University (MSU) to address water treatment chemical shortages in Zimbabwe. The company aims to produce cost-effective water treatment chemicals, such as chlorine and sodium hypochlorite, using a modularized plant that allows for scalable production. The initiative aligns with the National Development Strategy 1, supporting the improvement of water and sanitation by providing locally produced, high-quality water treatment solutions.
